Kanye covers Complex Magazine

Kanye West allowed Complex editor-in-chief Noah Callahan-Bever to spend some time with him in Hawaii, living with Kanye, hanging out in his Honolulu studio and penning the cover story “Project Runaway”. The profile offers a glimpse at Kanye’s creative process and gives insight on the man based on those who helped create My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

“Kanye’s process is communal—he literally goes around the room asking everyone there what ‘power’ means to them, throws out lines to see how they’re received, and works out his exact wording with whomever is around to help. But his output is most definitely entirely his own—one listen to that consistently unique cadence, word choice, and sense of humor reveals that. Rappers, producers, and entourage are all welcome to offer ideas or phrases, but the funny thing is, nearly every suggestion is met with, ‘That’s really not at all a word I would ever say, but don’t stop offering ideas, thanks!’”

On Kanye’s sense of humor in the studio:

“What does elicit a visceral reaction—hard, heavy laughter—is the wall of Kanye Commandments posted on 8.5″x 11″ sheets of paper on one side of the studio. They include the obvious—’No Tweeting’ and ‘No Pictures’—and some…well, some less obvious ones, too. Not that ‘No Hipster Hats’ and ‘Just Shut the Fuck Up Sometimes’ aren’t rules to live by.”

On Kanye’s sleeping habits:

“During my five days in Hawaii, Kanye never slept at his house, or even in a bed. He would, er, power-nap in a studio chair or couch here and there in 90-minute intervals, working through the night. Engineers remained behind the boards 24 hours a day.”

Fantasia had an abortion....omg

Can it get any worse......
Yesterday afternoon, Fantasia had to take the stand during Antwaun Cook’s divorce proceedings in North Carolina and according to RadarOnline.com, she confessed that she was pregnant by Antwaun during the time of her suicide attempt. It was revealed that she eventually aborted the baby. She also confessed that her relationship with Antwuan was “off and on” for about 11 months, however, she believed he was separated from his wife during that time. Meanwhile, his wife’s lawyer, argued that Fantasia and Antwaun checked into a hotel together a few days after meeting each other because she knew she couldn’t go back to his home because of his wife.

Fantasia is currently being sued by Antwaun’s wife for Alienation of Affection which is a law in North Carolina that allows an abandoned spouse to file a lawsuit against the party responsible for the failure of their marriage

I will be so glad when Mrs. Cook let this situation go, at this point it just seem like she is trying to get some money, she probably wants to divorce Antwan but she is trying to get paid.  If she watched Fantasia's show and I know she is, it clearly shows that her husband is still trying to make a mends with Fantasia.  I wish I was the judge, because I would ask her.....Lets be real Mrs. Cook, tell me the truth, you just trying to get paid?

Fantasia met the wife....ummmmhmmmm

While I was doing my evening gossip reading I came across some interesting info on theybf.com, Fantasia met Mrs. Cook, the one and only Paula Cook.  I personally think they are trying to swindle Fantasia out of some $$$$, but he lead her to believe that he really left his wife.  I understand Fanny is a country girl trying to make it in the industry but she should have also used wisdom that I know her grandma have instilled in her to use caution when messing with married men, that say they are separated. Here is what radaronline.com had to say:

Earlier this month, Fantasia and Paula attempted to settle their dispute through private mediation regarding Fanny's alleged affair with Antwan Cook. A source close to the situation says the mediation lasted nearly 12 hours on November 1, and Fantasia was prepared to pay Paula $100,000.

 A source told RadarOnline,

"They didn't settle because Fantasia refuses to acknowledge that she was aware of Paula's marriage to Antwaun when she started dating him, and Paula is adamant that she knew."

According to the source, Fantasia and Paula are set to meet in a North Carolina courthouse again on November 22, but Paula is readying to sue Fantasia for Alienation of Affection.

Kanye: I don't need all that Jazz.....Today Show interview

Kanye West sat down to have an interview with Matt Lauer from the Today show, and let's just say Kanye, don't play that.  I feel like he had every right to defend himself, and why are they even still talking about it.  I like the fact that he did not allow the Today show to take over the interview, and he had control.  Kanye is a very smart, man, sometimes he may be a bit extreme, but he is still human. He shows frustration because he fell like they are throwing them under the bus.  After his interview Kanye went to his twitter @kanyewest had had a few choice words as well
