Yesterday Lil Mama was invited to Power 105.1 to do an interview with the Breakfast Club the host are Angel Yee, DJ Envy & Charlamagne The God. Now lets be clear this is a NY radio station, and unlike my local radio station they hold no punches and they are not afraid to ask any questions, or base their opinion, no matter how harsh they may be. The most out spoken person is Charlamagne he was the co-host of the Wendy Williams Radio show, before it ended, and I love him! He is honest and not afraid to say what or how he feels.
OK so that's an overview of the radio host. So now this interview in my opinion, I have grew a new respect for Lil Mama, because she held her own no matter how many times they kept bringing up Jay Z & Alicia Keys, and Nicki Minaj. She talked about why she left the industry and also made a point about the media talking about her instead of embracing her. At the end of the interview, she let out some tears, talking about the lost of her mom and why she left the industry....take a look...much respect Lil Mama
